The Rough Month of January

This month is a toughie at work. We work soo many hours each day and even on the weekends. We are all exhausted- I mean really exhausted. Some days, we don't even remember or get time to eat lunch. I have counted the bruises on my legs and arms from just the past few days and wow, I'm kind of nervous how many will be there by the end of this month. But yay to being halfway done! Yippie!!!

I have also been super busy applying to MBA programs. I took my GMAT last Thursday and one of the deadlines was today. I got it done last night- ha- I was just SUPER busy that I just didn't have time till last night. So now the waiting begins. I feel like I check the website 5 to 10 times a day- just in case they decide to take me early! HA.

Anywho, I hope everyone is having a great Tuesday evening! Don't forget to vote for Jen and James. The voting ends very very soon and they will announce the winner this Friday!

Happy New Year and other things

Well, well, well....Happy 2011!! I have so many things to look forward to in 2011....

1. January 2011: GMAT test. Ok. So, this doesn't sound like too much fun....but, this could be such a good thing. I take the test next Thursday (fingers crossed) and I hope that I do well on it. I have been a studying fool- so I hope it pays off.

2.March 2011: Ali and Mat's wedding! So excited about that! We have suc a cute dress to wear and so many good times to be had. When Ali was in town this past week, we actually got to drive by the church in PVB where the ceremony will be held. It is so presh.

3. Sometime soon a trip to Houston to see my bestie Kel! For Christmas, she gave me a Southwest gift certificate so I can come and see her soon! I am so thankful for my best friend and can't wait to see her. It has been a huge transition this past year, from seeing her almost everyday, to her moving to Texas and me getting to see her once in the past few months. (I don't include our Skype dates in seeing her)

4. December 2011: Kelly and Joey's wedding! I honestly can't wait for them to be hitched! I feel as though Kelly is my sista and I will be adding a brother to the fam soon! They are just such awesome people and only deserve the best! I can't wait to see what our dresses look like for this one...because knowing Kelly, they are going to be AMAZING!

So, looking at my list, it doesn't seem too busy...BUT....it will be, I just have a feeling.

The past few weeks have been busy, busy. Between work (its our BUSIEST month here), studying, the holidays and friends being in town for the holidays- I just haven't had time to do anything!! Ali came in town and was here for like 2 weeks- which was fun! We spent a lot of time together and I FINALLY got to meet her soon to be hubby! She also introduced me to some pretty great people :) We went to the Gator Bowl on New Year's Day (after spending NYE at Ruth Chris and Pussers). Here are some pics:

Mississippi State vs. Michigan! Let's go SEC!

Ali and I before the game

She did NOT like all of the cowbells!

Our WORST enemy during the day. Everyone, and I mean everyone, had one of these! AHH

I also got to see Shelley! I was so pumped to see her cute little face! She let me look at the wedding pics and I was able to get some copies of some of the shots. They are on my home computer- so I will post them when I get home...after my practice test this evening!

I also got to see Andrew and his brother. They traveled to Orlando for his brother's soccer tourney. It was freeeeezzzing while we were there! We ended up doing some shopping....and by some, I mean a pretty good bit, before one of his soccer games. It was good to see him and Alex!

Well, thats about all I have for now.

I hope everyone has a great Thursday!
