A Sneak Peek into Ali's Big Day

Since I am feeling a tad bit icky and exhausted tonight, I am going to share some of the pics from the Denny's Big Day! Thanks Margot- you did a fab job- we had so much fun...you are a hoot!! To Ali and Mat- thank you for letting me be a part of y'all's special day!

Whew....

Its been an intense 2 days....let me tell you what! I have been reading over material, meeting people, reading some more, trying to understand a whole bunch of stuff, attending a Gospel Meeting at night and TRYING to organize my life which includes laundry and relaxing. This new job is kicking my rear! Its only the 2nd day and I am already wondering how on earth am I going to do this!?!? I am, however, happy to be back on a set schedule and maybe just maybe get to work out! I feel terri-b-l-e because I haven't gotten to catch up with my friends and I have been MIA. But I know (because they are the B-E-S-T) they understand and are sooo happy that I have found something new and exciting!

As I mentioned before, this week has been our Gospel Meeting at church. It has been a great week so far and I have learned so much. There has been a great crowd and it's great to see many people you haven't seen in a while. Tonight, we heard a lesson on how we should be treating people (everyone) the way Jesus treated people. I think this is a very important lesson to hear- even though its something that we should already be doing. Sometimes, we get (I mean I know that I do) so caught up in our everyday lives that we forget how we treat people. There is so much bad and meanness in the world, but I believe that if we all treat everyone the way that He did, then this world would be SOOOO much better. Just remember, it takes more out of us to be mean, than it does to be nice!

Fresh start

Tomorrow, I get a fresh start! I get to start a new job at a new company. I am beyond excited and thankful for this opportunity.

This weekend my fam and I traveled to watch the Mets play the Braves in a spring training game. We all got sunburned but it was so good to watch the Braves play again. I love the spring and am so happy that opening day is just around the corner. We then stopped at the outlets and I got a couple of cute new items to wear to the new job...I am so cute!! I got a CUTE Vineyard Vines skirt for only $40.00. YAY!

Anywho, I got to talk to my little Ansley tonight!! It was so great to catch up with one of my good friends that I haven't talked to in a while. I miss her so! I hope that she gets into school here so we can live together :)

This wasn't a very organized post, but hey, it doesn't have to be! I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Rough day

Catching up and slowing down

Wow. This time last week I was arriving back from Houston. Last Sunday was one of the worst days of my life. I found out, before I came home from Houston, that my Grandmother had passed away on Saturday. My MeeMaw was one of the most influential people in my life. I loved her so much and will miss her beyond belief. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Thank you to everyone who has been there with us during this very difficult time. I'm not going to make this sad because she wouldn't want that!

This week has been incredibly rough. But....I had to put on a strong face for one of my best friends Ali's wedding! She was gorgeous and I was so thankful that she picked me to stand beside her on her wedding day. I had soo much fun and everything looked beautiful. I will post pics whenever I have them :) The photographer Margot was fabulous! We all had so much fun with her- she became so close with us and I'm so happy that we got to know her! Mr. and Mrs. Denny, thank you for an incredible weekend!!! I am so happy for you two!

I never got to post anything about my trip to Houston. Thanks to Kelly and Joey I had an amazing time out there. I got to fall in love with a city and also got to participate in so many special things with Kelly. I am so happy for my best friend and I can't believe that she is getting MARRIED!!! Everything was just absolutely perfect! It was so good to see my best friend and her fiance....I can not believe that I haven't seen them since August...wow! I had sushi for the first time....and ate it with chopsticks! The Rodeo was AWESOME!!! I am so glad that I got to experience the famous Houston Rodeo! I can't wait to go back out there and spend some more time! Thank you soooooo much Kel and Joey! I love them so much!

I am off to bed now to rest up from this intense couple of weeks....I hope everyone has a great week!

In 6 hours...

I will be on a plane en route to Houston to see my best friend! I couldn't be more excited and pumped! I have not seen her since my birthday road trip to Austin last summer. She has so much fun stuff planned and I just can't wait to see her and my boyfrand- Smith! Smith is Kel's cute pup!
